Director of Survey – Connecticut
Lead and grow a well-established Survey Department with a respected civil engineering firm in Connecticut. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed survey professional ready to oversee operations, mentor staff, manage client relationships, and drive business development while working on a diverse mix of land development, municipal, transportation, and commercial projects.
Requirements:
- Connecticut PLS license required
- 10 years of land surveying experience
- Leadership and project management experience
- Strong knowledge of boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, and construction surveys
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and survey software
- Excellent communication and client management skills
What You'll Do:
- Lead and mentor the survey team
- Manage multiple survey projects from proposal through delivery
- Ensure quality control and project profitability
- Support business development and maintain client relationships
- Coordinate with engineering and field staff
