Performing comprehensive analysis and developing recommendations on fund investment opportunities. Responsibilities include evaluating prior performance, reference checks, examining underlying portfolio investments, and modeling fund performance. Managing Impact evaluation and measurement. This role will perform impact diligence in parallel with financial diligence and be expected to make thoughtful recommendations on ways in which to increase and maximize the impact of investments. Managing and monitoring current portfolio investments and preparing portfolio progress reports. Assisting with overall management of the portfolio Work closely with junior team member, training and teaching at the transaction level. An MBA, CFA or equivalent background. Strong academic record from a competitive institution 5 years of relevant work experience (Investment Banking, Private Equity, etc.). Analytical and critical thinking - Ability to identify and articulate key investment considerations and risks, with a special interest in impact. Good interpersonal & team skills - Comfortable with consensus decision-making and working in a collaborative, team-based environment. Excellent verbal and written communication in order to interact with internal and external investment professionals and executives. Strong presentation skills - the ability to articulate an investment recommendation or industry thesis in a concise, organized manner. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and time-sensitive deliverables with a high degree of quality and accuracy. Passion for and understanding of investing and the private equity industry.
