Minimum 5 years of relevant general business experience, to include experience with competitive intelligence, financial benchmarking, strategy, consulting, corporate development, project management or related roles. Demonstrated understanding of the commercial and specialty (re)insurer market, potentially showcased by professional designations such as CPCU, ARM, ARe, etc. Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information and communicate insights clearly to senior audiences. Proven experience leading teams and managing multiple high priority workstreams. Strong knowledge of project management principles and the ability to manage all aspects of the project management life cycle; proficiency with related tools. High degree of reliability and integrity. Must also be driven and flexible enough to succeed in ambiguous and less structured situations. Travel required up to 10%, which may include both U.S. and international travel. Bachelor`s degree (Finance or Accounting). CPA or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred. Minimum of 10 years of finance experience. Must demonstrate ability to execute thoroughly in a fast-paced work environment, adapting quickly to changing conditions to achieve results. Must possess the ability to collaborate with peers across the organization to gain support for ideas and execute on projects that deliver value to customers. Comfortable leading meetings, making strategic recommendations to senior management and giving presentations to increasingly large audiences. Advanced understanding of Finance Tools and Analytical Methods. Coordinate the development of all external investor relations related content on behalf of the Global Risk Solutions (GRS) division (e.g., credit ratings agencies, earnings call preparation and Investor Day content) to communicate GRS strategic direction and financial performance Translate competitive and market signals into forward looking analyses that anticipate shifts before they materialize with clear strategic implications for underwriting appetite, portfolio positioning, growth priorities, and capital deployment. Actively contribute to the GRS strategic dialogue, including independently managing strategic projects with business-wide impact (e.g., strategically important and/or technical in nature). Serve as a trusted advisor to GRS senior leadership, contributing competitive context to leadership meetings, board materials, investor related discussions, and long term planning forums. Lead, coach, and develop a team of competitive intelligence professionals; set clear performance objectives and foster a culture of analytical rigor and strategic thinking. Oversee prioritization of work toward the highest-value deliverables, including defining project objectives, scope, timing, and resourcing. Plan activities and tasks to deliver desired project outcomes and oversee day-to-day execution and progress tracking. Identify opportunities to improve data sources, tools, processes, and storytelling approaches to enhance insight quality and speed.
