What are the responsibilities and job description for the Analyst II, Data Science position at Liberty Mutual Insurance Group?
Evaluate and deploy rating programs that will serve as the core pricing product delivered to customers. Employer will accept a Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mathematics, Science, Statistics, Finance, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Economics or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in an Analyst II, Data Science- related occupation. Alternatively, Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mathematics, Science, Statistics, Finance, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Economics or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in an Analyst II, Data Science- related occupation. Statistical Analysis and Predictive Modeling experience in third-party software, Emblem, and open-source packages including H20 or lightgbm. Developing and evaluating pricing models through insurance rating software, including Earnix and Radar. Demonstrated understanding of Python for data manipulation and visualizations. Developing dashboards to support the modeling pipeline. Demonstrated ability to develop and automate pricing pipelines, including GUI-based solutions. Business and insurance acumen on personal insurance products. Actuarial knowledge as it applies to insurance pricing, premium validation, and local regulation. Leading or assisting in a large model refresh and supporting key stakeholders that oversee the success and needs of the business. Telecommuting permitted up to 60%.
