? Support the establishment and communication of transparent growth and profitability targets for new and in-force business, ensuring alignment with both calendar-year and accident-year objectives. ? Lead in-depth analytical studies to compare recent performance against business objectives, offering actionable recommendations for product and process improvements. ? Leverage strong technical skills to identify data attributes needed to complete work and the ability to compile them from US Retail Market (USRM) data sources, often without being able to rely on existing datasets. As needed, develop and validate innovative metrics to explain results in clear and actionable ways. ? Develop techniques to identify business deterioration and/or adverse selection and provide recommendations to improve results when performance falls below expectations. ? Develop a deep and robust understanding of the Auto Product, Coverages, and Processes to provide expertise and guidance to the organization as needs arise. ? Become a subject matter expert, assisting junior analysts and peers across the organization with complex analytical tasks and fostering an environment of collaboration. Ideal candidate will possess: ? Strong experience conducting strategic analysis utilizing multiple actuarial techniques across more than one actuarial function (pricing, reserving, indications). ? Passion for strategic problem solving and working in ambiguity on ad hoc projects and questions. ? Prior experience working in Personal Lines and/or Auto Lines. ? Deep familiarity with tools such as Excel and SQL is preferred. Experience using Snowflake, PowerBI, Python are nice to have.
