Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site CAM Programmer role located in Portage, MI. As a CAM Programmer, you will be responsible for creating CNC programs, developing technical drawings, collaborating with machinists, and supporting milling and machining operations. Design and programming of carbon electrodes will be an integral function. You will play a critical role in ensuring the precision and efficiency of the company's mold production processes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Technical Drawing and the ability to interpret and modify designs
- Experience with CNC Programming and general Programming for manufacturing equipment
- Hands-on experience in Machining and Milling operations
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Experience in a mold manufacturing environment is a plus
- Use and knowledge of Cimatron CAD/CAM software is a plus
