Job Title: Executive Assistant Location: Souderton, PA Reports To: CEO Schedule: Part-Time (30 hrs/week) to Full-Time (40 hrs/week) Compensation: $20–$30 per hour, Based on ExperienceAbout Liberty MinistriesLiberty Ministries is a Christ-centered nonprofit organization serving individuals transitioning from incarceration through residential re-entry programs, prison ministry outreach, and a network of Liberty Thrift retail stores. Our mission is to transform the lives of everyone we encounter and reconnect them to God.Position OverviewThe Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative, organizational, and operational support to the CEO. This individual will help ensure the CEO’s time is maximized; communication is smooth, and initiatives across Liberty Ministries—including the thrift stores, residential re-entry program, and prison ministry—remain aligned and moving forward. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, mission-driven, and comfortable operating in a dynamic nonprofit environment.Key ResponsibilitiesExecutive Support- Manage and prioritize the CEO’s calendar, meetings, appointments, and travel.- Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and track follow-up items.- Draft, proofread, and manage internal and external communications.- Maintain confidential information with the highest level of integrity.Administrative & Operational Support- Coordinate cross-departmental communication with Liberty Thrift leadership, ministry staff, and re-entry home management.- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, donor correspondence, and board materials.- Oversee document organization, recordkeeping, and digital file structures.- Support HR-related tasks such as onboarding scheduling, policy documentation, and staff communication (as directed by the CEO).Project Coordination- Track progress on ongoing CEO-led initiatives and ensure timely completion.- Conduct research, gather data, and prepare summaries to assist in decision-making.- Help coordinate events, ministry activities, meetings, and special projects.Board & Donor Relations- Assist with scheduling and preparing for board meetings.- Support donor communication, thank-you letters, and fundraising coordination as needed.Thrift Store & Program Support- Facilitate communication between the CEO and thrift store leaders.- Assist in coordinating logistics or documentation related to the residential re-entry program and prison ministry outreach.Qualifications2 years of experience as an executive assistant or administrative professional (nonprofit or ministry experience preferred but not required).Strong organizational, communication, and project-management skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office software.Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt to shifting priorities.High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity.Commitment to the mission and values of Liberty Ministries.How to ApplyInterested applicants are invited to submit a resume and cover letter explaining their alignment with Liberty Ministries’ mission and their relevant experience.
