Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, floors, furniture, and fixtures to ensure a spotless environment.
- Perform floor care tasks such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and maintaining cleanliness in hallways and public spaces.
- Restock amenities like towels, toiletries, and linens to meet guest needs promptly and efficiently.
- Follow established cleaning procedures using appropriate janitorial equipment and supplies to uphold safety standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to management for prompt resolution.
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms to uphold overall hotel standards.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations related to industrial cleaning practices and custodial procedures.
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred; experience in industrial or commercial cleaning is a plus.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, upholstery cleaning, and sanitation practices.
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and customer service principles enhances guest satisfaction.
