Liberty Healthcare is now accepting applications for full-time and part-time Psychiatrist positions with our organization’s newest forensic mental health program.
This new program will exclusively serve people who have recently been determined to be incompetent to stand trial due to their mental illness.
The goal of this program is to provide rapid mental health services to people in need - so they may achieve improved behavioral health outcomes as quickly as possible.
The program is designed to facilitate early access to services, eliminate barriers to treatment, and restore people to competency as quickly as possible.
Services will be provided to clients / adult inmates at several county jail facilities located throughout San Bernardino, Riverside and San Diego Counties.
As a Psychiatrist with Liberty Healthcare, you will primarily provide psychiatric care to adult inmates – most of whom are historically underserved and have serious and persistent mental illness. Services will primarily be provided in-person within the jail - with some potential for remote telehealth services.
