Appliance Installer/Delivery Driver

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on customer service and possess mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment repair and appliance assembly as needed. This role involves delivering products, ensuring they arrive safely and on time, while also providing exceptional service to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle, including box trucks, to transport products to various locations.
• Load and unload items for delivery, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Assemble appliances and equipment as required at the delivery site.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from clients during the delivery process.
• Review delivery survey with customer and keep scores high.
• Conduct routine inspections of the delivery vehicle and report any maintenance or repair needs.
• Utilize schematics for proper installation and setup of delivered appliances when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any issues encountered during transport.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and skills related to appliance repair and equipment maintenance.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Familiarity with operating box trucks and understanding of safety regulations related to driving.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics for assembly tasks.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift heavy items and work in various weather conditions.
• Ability to use dolly.
