What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fedex Personal Vehicle Delivery Driver position at WPS Delivery?
WPS is a FedEx independent service provider operating out of Lowell and is looking to hire several Alternative Vehicle drivers for our delivery area around Northwest Arkansas.
In this position you will be a FedEx AVP delivery driver using your personal vehicle to make package deliveries within our delivery area.
As a Fedex AVP delivery driver your day begins at the Fedex terminal located in Lowell where the packages are sorted for delivery. After loading your vehicle you will dispatch to your route making deliveries. Once all assigned packages have been delivered you work day will be complete.

Pay - $17.00 per hour plus $2 per delivered stop. Paid Weekly.
Driver is responsible for all fuel and vehicle maintenance costs.

Minimum Driver Requirements:
- Delivery drivers must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be able to handle and deliver various package sizes up to 50lbs
- All candidates will undergo a drug screen
- All candidates must be able to pass a criminal background and driving record check
- Available to work your full shift each day - routes are run until complete - All Packages must be delivered.
Minimum Vehicle Requirements:
- Passenger type vehicle - sedan, station wagon, SUV, mini van, or pick-up truck (with a locking bedcover)
- Must be less than 15 years old - no exceptions allowed
- Weigh less than 10,001 pounds
- Must be In safe operating condition and meet reasonable customer expectations.
- Must meet state minimum insurance requirements and have valid registration.
