Position Overview
We are seeking dependable Snow Operators to join our team for the winter season. This is a seasonal position ideal for skilled equipment operators available 24/7 during snow events. The Snow Operator will be responsible for operating plow trucks and heavy machinery—including skid steers and loaders—to remove snow and ice from commercial properties, roads, and loading areas.
This role plays a vital part in maintaining safe and accessible environments for our clients throughout the snow season.
We are seeking reliable, safety-minded individuals with strong mechanical skills and experience in equipment operation. Ideal candidates are proactive, flexible, and ready to respond quickly when winter weather strikes.
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years (50 hours) of equipment operating experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliable transportation and availability 24/7 during snow events
- Experience operating plow trucks, loaders, or skid steers a plus
Key Responsibilities
- Operate plow trucks, skid steers, or loaders to clear snow and ice
- Maintain safety and efficiency on all assigned properties
- Load and unload materials as needed
- Perform light equipment maintenance and pre/post-operation checks
- Follow designated snow removal routes and communicate with supervisors during shifts
