About Us

Liberty Distributors, Inc. is an established wholesale distribution company with over 30 years of experience supplying name-brand health and beauty, household cleaning, and general merchandise products to retailers and wholesalers.

We operate a large, fast-paced warehouse in Brooklyn and are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and experienced Warehouse Worker / Forklift Operator to join our team.

The ideal candidate is comfortable operating multiple types of warehouse machinery, works efficiently, pays close attention to detail, and takes pride in getting the job done correctly.

Job Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks and shipping containers.
• Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and electric pallet jacks.
• Receive incoming merchandise, inspect products, and verify shipment quantities.
• Move, organize, and put away merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
• Use handheld barcode scanners to track merchandise and inventory.
• Perform inventory counts and assist with maintaining accurate stock records.
• Build, wrap, and prepare pallets for shipment.
• Keep warehouse aisles, storage areas, and workstations clean and organized.
• Work with warehouse employees to complete daily assignments and meet shipping deadlines.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience operating warehouse machinery required.
• Must be able to operate multiple types of warehouse equipment.
• Experience with sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers/cherry pickers, and electric pallet jacks is highly preferred.
• Prior forklift certification is not required. Employer-provided training, evaluation, and certification will be available.
• Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and handle merchandise weighing over 50 lbs, with appropriate equipment or team assistance when necessary.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the workday.
• Must be able to communicate in English. Spanish is a plus.
• Experience using handheld barcode scanners is preferred, but training is available.
• Must be dependable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and assist in different areas of warehouse operations.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting pay of $17.00 per hour.

Work Schedule

• Sunday through Friday.
• Regular hours: 7:30 AM–4:45 PM, with shorter hours on Fridays.
