Job description:
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Hi-lo Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of equipment in a distribution center or warehouse setting.
Duties:
- Operate Hi-lo, Order Picker, Reach Truck, and other material handling equipment
- Perform order picking, loading, unloading, and materials handling tasks
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues
- Safely transport materials within the warehouse or distribution center
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Hi-lo Driver or similar role
- Proficiency in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
- Familiarity with basic math for inventory management
- Ability to load and unload materials efficiently
- Experience working in a fast-paced distribution center environment
Preferred Skills:
- Order picking experience
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment troubleshooting
- Familiarity with distribution center operations
- Materials handling expertise
- Proficiency in using pallet jacks for moving goods
