Overview
We are looking to hire a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant to help with weekly office and bookkeeping tasks. This is currently a one full day per week position, with the potential for additional hours in the future as business needs grow. The day of the week is flexible.
This position will be based out of a home office in Sayreville, NJ and is ideal for someone who is organized, trustworthy, comfortable working independently, and experienced with basic bookkeeping and office administration.
Responsibilities
- Filing and organizing paperwork
- Creating and sending invoices
- Payroll-related administrative tasks
- Bookkeeping using QuickBooks
- Maintaining accurate records
- Assisting with basic office organization
- Performing other light administrative duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience with QuickBooks is preferred
- Prior bookkeeping, invoicing, payroll, or administrative experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Organized and dependable
- Comfortable working in a small office / home office environment
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently
- Basic computer skills, including email, spreadsheets, and office software
