SUMMARY OF THE JOB:
The Data Architect is a key member of our organization, focused on providing modern and scalable data solutions. In this role, you will design and implement data architecture solutions using Azure, Azure Data Factory (ADF), SQL Server, and Salesforce Data Cloud. You will manage the enterprise architecture function, conduct architecture reviews, create high-level design documents, and collaborate closely with business partners and IT stakeholders. The Data Architect contributes to the team by working on projects, troubleshooting data issues, resolving tickets, and creating data documentation, while maintaining current knowledge and understanding of data management and architecture best practices.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Design and implement data architecture solutions using Azure, ADF, SQL Server, and Salesforce Data Cloud.
- Manage enterprise architecture functions, including architecture reviews and high-level design documentation.
- Collaborate with business partners to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Work with IT stakeholders to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical capabilities.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Conduct presentations and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot data issues and deliver root cause analysis for critical incidents and problems.
- Monitor and optimize data performance and connectivity issues.
- Perform maintenance and upgrades for data-related systems while adhering to company standards and applicable business requirements.
- Collaborate with internal team members and third parties to resolve data-related incidents.
- Follow all Change Management processes and contribute to Incident and Problem Management.
- Monitor system performance levels and develop appropriate alerting and reporting processes.
- Proactively identify issues and communicate effectively with management to develop solutions.
- Create and maintain documentation related to data architecture, configuration, and procedures.
- Provide technical leadership and oversight to the data operations team.
- Ensure all company IT and Security policies and procedures are being followed.
- Provide on-call support.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Master's degree in a related field is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience demonstrating a progressive career path in data architecture or related fields.
- Proven experience with Azure, Azure Data Factory (ADF), SQL Server, and Salesforce Data Cloud.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with business partners and IT stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Certification in Azure or Salesforce.
- Experience with other data management tools and technologies.
