Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic person to work in a locally owned greenhouse dedicated to providing top quality plants and garden supplies with expert advice and friendly service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for plants and love helping people.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily operations of the greenhouse, including selling, displaying, and maintaining various plants.
- Help unload deliveries and stocking inventory
- Maintain a clean, organized and well stocked retail area.
- Water, prune and care for plants to keep them healthy
- Assist customers with plant selection, product information and processing transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, tools, and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals efficiently.
Experience
- Must have great customer service skills
- Previous greenhouse or gardening experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn new skills related to gardening and landscaping.
