Summer School Age Care Associate
The Summer Kid’s Zone Childcare Associate organizes, monitors and directs age-appropriate activities for children aged 5 to 11 while maintaining a clean and safe environment for children. The Childcare Associate will communicate with parents in a positive and encouraging manner about their child's day in the summer before and after school program.
Dates:
- Summer Camp Training is June 29, 2026 - July 2, 2026
- Summer Camp is July 6, 2026 - July 31, 2026
o AM shift - 6:30 am-10:30 am (4 hours)
o PM shift - 10:00 am to 5:00 pm (7 hours)
Pay
$15.36 - $19.29 per hour (based on relevant work experience)
Hours
- Weekdays, Monday through Friday
Job Duties
- Assists Site Supervisor by engaging and monitoring children in age appropriate activities.
- Helps with planning and organizing activities that support recreational and educational growth.
- Ensures the safety and well-being of children in the program.
- Administers first aid and medical assistance under the guidance of a healthcare professional.
- Maintain positive communications with LPS staff, children, and parents.
Requirements
- Childcare Workers must be at least 16 years of age.
- Previous experience in a childcare worker role preferred, but not required.
- Must be able to travel between facilities as needed.
