We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Volleyball Head Coach to lead our volleyball program. Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive training plans to improve players’ volleyball skills, tactics, and physical fitness
- Lead team practices, drills, and conditioning sessions that emphasize technique, coordination, and teamwork
- Plan and execute competitive game strategies aligned with team strengths and opponent analysis
- Foster a positive team culture by promoting sportsmanship, discipline, and mutual respect among players
- Monitor player performance during practices and games, providing constructive feedback for continuous improvement
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all activities, including proper warm-up routines and injury prevention measures
- Coordinate with school or organization staff to schedule matches, tournaments, and additional training sessions
Requirements
- Proven experience in sports coaching, particularly volleyball or similar team sports
- Strong background in physical education, teaching sports fundamentals, or related fields
- Knowledge of athletic training techniques to enhance player performance and prevent injuries
- Experience working with children or students in a coaching or teaching capacity
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies to maintain discipline and focus during practices and games
- Additional skills in Lifeguard experience, swimming, martial arts (such as Karate or Judo), cheerleading, climbing, or other physical activities are a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively with athletes of diverse backgrounds and skill levels
- Enthusiasm for mentoring young athletes and fostering a fun yet disciplined sporting environment
