Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take their food and beverage orders with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and specialty drinks using proper techniques
- Use POS systems such as Club Caddie to accurately process orders, payments, and tips while maintaining cash handling integrity
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and accommodating special requests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols. Restock bar nightly.
- Assist in setting up banquet events or catering functions as needed, providing seamless service in both fine dining and nightclub settings
- Manage time efficiently during busy shifts to ensure prompt service without sacrificing quality or accuracy
Requirements
- Previous bartending & food service experience, especially in a Country Club environment
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Club Caddie; experience with cashiering or cash handling is a plus
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service; ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Ability to multitask effectively while managing time during high-volume periods
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately; retail math experience is beneficial
- Knowledge of beverage preparation techniques required
- Experience working in the food industry or hospitality sector required; catering or banquet experience is a bonus
