We are partnering with a growing global organization within the industrial/manufacturing sector to identify a Senior IT Director, Global Infrastructure & Operations. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving enterprise-wide infrastructure, cloud, and IT operations strategy across a complex, global environment.
This position serves as a key operational partner to executive IT leadership, helping modernize and scale technology platforms to support business growth, global expansion, and M&A initiatives.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Define and execute a global infrastructure and IT operations strategy aligned with business and cybersecurity priorities
- Lead a cloud-first transformation (Azure/Microsoft ecosystem) across hybrid environments
- Oversee global infrastructure (cloud on-prem), including networking and end-user computing
- Ensure high availability, performance, disaster recovery, and business continuity
- Drive ITSM/ITIL best practices, including SLAs and continuous service improvement
- Lead compliance and risk management efforts (SOX, GDPR, CMMC, ITGC, etc.)
- Partner with security teams on Zero Trust initiatives and operational resilience
- Support M&A activity, including IT due diligence and post-merger integration
- Manage budgets, cloud FinOps, and vendor performance
- Build and lead high-performing global teams while driving accountability and results
- Track and report KPIs across performance, cost, risk, and user experience
What You Bring
- 20 years of IT experience, including 10 years in leadership roles
- Strong expertise in global infrastructure, Azure/Microsoft technologies, and IT operations
- Proven success leading M&A integrations in complex environments
- Deep understanding of ITSM/ITIL frameworks and service delivery models
- Experience with enterprise compliance frameworks (SOX, GDPR, CMMC, ITGC)
- Strong background managing vendors, MSPs, and global teams
Preferred Qualifications
- ITIL Certification
- Microsoft Azure Certifications
- CISSP, CISM, or similar security/governance credentials
- Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial environments
