Position Overview
The Audit & Field Rotation Auditor is a developmental role focused on building a strong foundation in internal audit, risk management, and SOX compliance. This position provides broad exposure to accounting and finance operations while offering a structured path into future corporate or field-based finance roles.
You will partner closely with Internal Audit leadership to execute audit procedures, document findings, and support key initiatives—all while developing core professional and technical skills in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support internal audit and SOX compliance efforts, including executing audit procedures and documenting results
- Review and analyze public and private title documents (e.g., deeds, liens, judgments, surveys) to validate property ownership and legal descriptions
- Identify and resolve property access issues and review objection letters
- Collaborate with Title Examiners and leadership on underwriting decisions and transaction pipeline
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of work to meet established turnaround times
- Manage out-of-county evidence orders and coordinate with third-party providers to meet service level expectations
- Perform compliance checks, including watchlist screenings and transaction name searches
- Partner with internal teams to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements (including TDI guidelines)
- Update commitments following survey reviews and maintain accurate records
- Review and validate open orders, contracts, and supporting legal documentation
- Support additional projects and responsibilities as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
- 1–5 years of experience in audit, accounting, or finance (including internships)
- Foundational understanding of internal controls, accounting principles, and audit concepts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; data analytics tools are a plus
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate across teams and interact with all levels of the organization

Salary : $85,000 - $114,000
