Account Manager- Transportation & Logistics

Full-Time | Direct Hire| up to $60K base uncapped commission
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnered with a growing transportation and logistics organization seeking a driven, relationship-focused Account Manager to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building connections, supporting customers, and playing a key part in delivering seamless transportation solutions.
The Account Manager will serve as a primary point of contact for customers, supporting account management, coordinating transportation services, and ensuring a high level of communication throughout the process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, acting as a trusted point of contact throughout the transportation process
- Support business development efforts by assisting with outbound outreach, lead follow-up, and account for growth initiatives
- Prepare and present transportation quotes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with customer needs
- Coordinate shipments from initiation through delivery, ensuring timelines and service expectations are met
- Collaborate with internal teams (operations, logistics, billing) to ensure smooth and efficient customer experience
- Provide proactive communication to customers regarding shipment status, updates, and issue resolution
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional, solutions-oriented manner
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotes, and shipment details within internal systems
- Consistently building and strengthening customer relationships
- Staying organized and managing multiple accounts in a fast-paced environment
- Communicating effectively and following up with urgency and professionalism
- Acting as a customer advocate to ensure a positive end-to-end transportation experience
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1 years of experience in customer service, account coordination, logistics, or a related field
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM/TMS systems is a plus
Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
