Our client, a fast‑growing technology organization in the eCommerce space, is looking to add a Senior Financial Analyst to partner closely with their Sales leadership team. This role sits at the intersection of finance, go‑to‑market strategy, and revenue operations, helping drive smarter decisions, stronger forecasts, and scalable growth. This is temp to hire opportunity offering $150k-$170k based on experience.
The Opportunity
In this role, you’ll act as a key finance partner to the Sales organization—bringing structure, insight, and financial discipline to revenue planning and execution. You’ll work cross‑functionally with Sales, Revenue Operations, and FP&A to improve forecast accuracy, evaluate performance, and support strategic growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Planning & Forecasting
- Build and maintain revenue projections across channels, products, and customer segments
- Support quarterly and annual sales planning and budgeting cycles
- Analyze forecast vs. actual results to surface risks, trends, and opportunities
Pipeline & Performance Insights
- Collaborate with Sales and RevOps to evaluate pipeline strength, deal flow, conversion metrics, and coverage
- Track leading indicators to improve revenue predictability
- Identify gaps to goal and inform corrective actions
Quota, Capacity & Scenario Modeling
- Develop quota and capacity models aligned with growth targets
- Analyze territory design, productivity, ramp timelines, and attainment
- Support what‑if modeling for hiring plans and GTM strategy changes
Sales Spend & ROI Analysis
- Monitor sales‑related investments including commissions, incentives, discounting, and enablement spend
- Evaluate the effectiveness of sales programs and compensation plans
- Ensure spend remains aligned with financial targets
Reporting & Executive Support
- Create dashboards and reporting packages for sales leadership and executives
- Present insights on revenue trends, performance drivers, and risks
- Contribute to monthly and quarterly business reviews with clear, data‑backed storytelling
- Serve as a trusted finance advisor to Sales leadership
- Improve forecasting models, reporting accuracy, and planning workflows
- Help scale finance and sales operations as the business continues to grow
What We’re Looking For
- 5–7 years of experience in finance, revenue operations, business analytics, or a related field
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience working with SQL or BI tools (or strong interest in developing these skills)
- Familiarity with ERP systems, ideally NetSuite
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and communication skills
- Self‑starter mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
Salary : $150,000 - $170,000
