Senior Financial Analyst

Our client is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to play a critical role in strengthening revenue performance and supporting strategic decision-making across the organization. This position combines traditional FP&A responsibilities with revenue assurance, analytics, and business partnership to help identify revenue opportunities, mitigate leakage, and improve overall financial results.

What You'll Do

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare and deliver recurring and ad hoc financial reports supporting month-end close, leadership reporting, and business initiatives
• Analyze performance trends and communicate key drivers impacting results
• Support management reporting and executive-level financial presentations
• Provide actionable insights that drive informed business decisions

Forecasting, Budgeting & Financial Modeling

• Build and maintain financial forecasts, budgets, and analytical models
• Analyze actual results versus budget and forecast expectations
• Identify risks, opportunities, and performance drivers impacting revenue and profitability
• Present findings and recommendations to finance and operational leadership

Revenue Assurance & Portfolio Analytics

• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify revenue leakage, billing discrepancies, and revenue opportunities
• Investigate variances and support resolution of revenue-related issues
• Evaluate portfolio performance and identify opportunities for process optimization and revenue growth
• Support internal and external reporting requirements related to revenue assurance initiatives

Business Partnership

• Partner with Finance, Revenue Management, Operations, and field leadership teams
• Support pricing, growth, and operational initiatives with data-driven analysis
• Collaborate across departments to improve financial and operational performance
• Translate complex financial concepts into meaningful business recommendations

Process Improvement & Analytics

• Design, document, and implement process improvements that strengthen revenue integrity
• Enhance reporting, forecasting, and analytical capabilities
• Develop scalable tools, dashboards, and controls to improve visibility and accuracy
• Participate in cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives

Qualifications

✅ Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field

✅ 3 years of progressive experience in:

• Revenue Assurance
• Revenue Management
• Financial Analysis
• Accounting
• Auditing
• Billing
• Pricing Analytics

✅ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including:

• Financial modeling
• Pivot tables
• Complex formulas
• Charts and dashboards
• Macros (preferred)

✅ Strong forecasting, budgeting, and analytical capabilities

✅ Experience synthesizing large, complex datasets into actionable insights

✅ Strong communication and presentation skills

✅ Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally

Preferred Experience

✔ SQL experience

✔ Power Query and Power Pivot

✔ Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI

✔ Revenue management or pricing analytics

✔ Large corporate or multi-location business environments

✔ Experience leading complex financial analyses and cross-functional projects
