Senior Accountant

Our client is a mid-sized manufacturing corporation looking to hire a Senior Accountant for their team due to an internal promotion. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s in Accounting along with four years of accounting experience in the manufacturing industry. You will work with the Accounting Manager to provide detailed, accurate financial reporting. This is a terrific opportunity to join a sizable, growing corporation and assist them as they continue to grow and develop. This is a full-time onsite position offering a salary of $90,000 to $120,000. They offer a comprehensive benefits package including health and life insurance, PTO, 401k match.
Responsibilities for the Accountant job include:
- Compile and analyze financial data for general ledger entries
- Assist in the monthly preparation of financial statements
- External audit preparation and support
- Cost analysis and reporting
- Involvement in ad hoc projects as necessary
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Four or more years of accounting experience within a manufacturing or distribution environment is required
- Combination of accounting, cost analysis skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong technical aptitude, must know Pivot Tables, VLookups in Excel
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
