Commercial Real Estate Legal Assistant | Orlando, FL | On-Site
A leading Florida-based business law firm is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Legal Assistant to join its Orlando office. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with strong experience supporting attorneys in commercial real estate transactions who thrive in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with clients, lenders, and other parties via phone and email
- Maintain attorney calendars and schedule meetings
- Draft and edit real estate documents, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, and conveyance documents
- Prepare and review closing statements, disbursement requests, and wire authorizations
- Assist with compiling closing packages and post-closing binders
- Maintain transaction records and manage electronic and physical files
- Prepare local and state government permit applications and assist with compliance reporting
- Handle billing, expense reports, and invoice tracking
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, with a preference for experience in commercial real estate or similar transactional practice
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and PDF
- Experience with document management (iManage preferred) and legal accounting softwares
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Florida Notary (preferred)
