What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Manager, Pricing and Product position at LHH?
We are working with our San Jose, CA B2B SaaS client to recruit a Program Manager focused on Product Marketing and Pricing to join their team on a long-term contract basis, with opportunity to convert to permanent. In this role, you will play a blended role in both streamlining departmental processes and providing strategic insights to specialized product and pricing teams. You will be a connector between product, marketing, technology and sales teams, among other interested parties, aiding strategic partners in bringing projects to the execution phase. This role requires experience in go-to-market strategy and product packaging and pricing initiatives, and your understanding of these subjects will serve as critical in aligning project goals and teams. To be a fit, you should bring 3 years of relevant experience in product marketing, product management or program management within a similar organization. Experience in B2B SaaS products is required, with a strong preference for experience in cyber security products or similar.
This organization is growing rapidly and their team is looking for expertise in this space to streamline product management and product marketing projects! This is a hybrid role based in Silicon Valley, and will require three days weekly onsite in their office. Remote candidates are encouraged to apply if well aligned, but the goal is a local, hybrid hire. Pay for this role ranges from $75 to $85 an hour, based on relevant experience. As an LHH Contractor, you will we a W2 employee with access to LHH benefits, including medical, dental, vision and 401(K) options, with accruing sick time at the state rate.
You will:
- Join the product marketing function within this SaaS org as a project and program management SME, focused on working closely with marketing, product and sales teams to align strategy and support execution
- Own project and program reviews complex pricing, product and GTM initiatives, translating these into execution plans for interested parties and driving cohesion
- Lead cross-functional meetings, kick-offs and projects, ensuring alignment between parties and clarity in goals and timelines
- Build dashboards, metrics and reporting tools to monitor programs and product launches
- Maintain open communication between cross-functional teams and interested parties with a goal of cohesive communication, timeline clarity and other project touchpoints and deadlines
- Conduct internal reviews, data analysis and research, working closely with finance teams to evaluate relevant customer data and KPIs
Your experience should include:
- 3 years of relevant experience in product management or product marketing expertise in B2B SaaS products with experience in GTM and pricing strategy
- Experience in the cybersecurity SaaS industry, preferred
- Bachelor’s degree, required; MBA or other advanced education and/or PMP Certification, preferred
- Specialized experience in a dedicated pricing and packaging role or experience working directly with these teams and projects, strongly preferred
- In-depth program and project management experience with a track record of connecting cross-functional teams, aligning projects, maintaining timelines and improving workflows for relevant teams
- Salesforce proficiency with experience reviewing customer data, analytics and insights; Experience with Seismic, preferred
- Strategic mindset with strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally, drive adoption and engagement, and streamline processes
