Payroll Specialist (Temp-to-Hire)

Compensation: $30-$38/hour

**Overview:**
We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to manage payroll for a growing team of 300 employees, both exempt and non-exempt. This is an onsite, temp-to-hire position. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing payroll using ADP Workforce Now (WFN) and ensuring accurate and timely payroll execution.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 300 employees, including both exempt and non-exempt staff.
- Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of employee records in ADP Workforce Now.
- Review and reconcile payroll discrepancies, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Handle garnishments, deductions, and benefits contributions.
- Assist with payroll audits, tax filings, and end-of-year reporting.
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries and provide resolutions promptly.
- Collaborate with HR to manage employee changes such as new hires, terminations, and salary updates.
**Qualifications:**
- Minimum of 5 years of payroll processing experience, preferably in a mid-sized company.
- Strong proficiency in ADP Workforce Now (WFN) software.
- Experience with payroll for both exempt and non-exempt employees.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
