We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for processing payroll, maintaining accurate payroll records, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This is a critical role within our organization, and we are looking for someone who is highly organized, analytical, and has a strong understanding of financial concepts. This role serves as a point of contact for our facilities should there be any questions or concerns related to payroll or how to utilize Paychex Flex.
Responsibilities:
- Process payroll accurately and timely using Paychex
- Process manual checks as needed for designated facilities
- Enter payroll data, including hours worked, bonuses, commissions, and deductions
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies by investigating and resolving any issues or errors
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management as needed
- Assist employees with reviewing and resolving payroll-related inquiries or concerns
- Maintain accurate employee records in the payroll system
- Analyze payroll data for accuracy and completeness
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts related to payroll processing
- Proficiency in using Paychex, Excel, Outlook and Word
- Excellent data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to perform 10-key typing accurately and efficiently
- Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve discrepancies in payroll data

- CA Payroll: 3 years (Required)
- Paychex: 1 year (Preferred)
- Skilled Nursing or SNF: 1 year (Preferred)
