What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll Coordinator position at LHH?
LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a client in the Professional Services/Education space to fill a temp-to-perm Payroll Coordinator position. Please note, this position requires 4-5 days onsite in Brooklyn. We are searching for a Payroll professional with strong ADP experience.
Responsibilities:
- As a 3-4 person team, processing weekly, bi-weekly, and semi-monthly payrolls for approximately 500 employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensuring timesheets for hourly employees are accurate including hours worked, overtime, and PTO
- Working with HR to accurately process garnishments, benefits deductions, and any other payroll adjustments
- Responding to employee inquiries related to payroll
- Preparing any requested payroll or turnover related reports for management or HR team
- Maintaining and updating employee payroll data in HRIS system
Qualifications:
- 3 years of Payroll experience
- 2 years of recent ADP Workforce Now experience
- Strong Excel skills for reporting and analysis work; pivot tables and vlookups are a requirement
Contract Details/Schedule:
- 4-5 days in office in Downtown, Brooklyn area
- 9 - 5 PM schedule, 35 hour work week with occasional additional hours/overtime
- Position begins on a temporary basis; there is a permanent vacancy on the team but manager would like to evaluate candidate's performance prior to making a permanent offer
