Responsibilities:
- Lead month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and review internal and external financial reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery.
- Support regulatory filings, annual reporting requirements, audits, and other compliance-related initiatives.
- Manage contract-related accounting activities, reporting obligations, and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Review employee expense reports, oversee select corporate insurance programs, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Partner with the accounting team on special projects, cross-functional initiatives, and departmental support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5 years of relevant accounting and financial reporting experience
- Strong experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation is required
- CPA preferred but not required
- Financial services or insurance experience is a plus
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership stakeholders
Salary : $120,000 - $135,000
