What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Legal Secretary position at LHH?
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and format litigation documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and subpoenas
- Coordinate and e-file documents in Texas state and federal courts
- Manage calendars, deadlines, and court alerts
- Organize and maintain electronic files within the document management system
- Assist with time entry, billing, and expense processing
- Coordinate meetings, travel, CLEs, and attorney admissions
- Provide high-level administrative and client service support
Qualifications
- 7 years of litigation legal secretary experience
- Experience with Texas and Federal e-filing systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Experience with NetDocs or iManage
- Strong organizational, proofreading, and time management skills
- Interest and/or experience in Labor & Employment law
- Interested in a growth-oriented environment with strong attorney mentorship
