The qualified candidate must have a significant understanding of Texas Court rules, docketing and e-filing procedures in both Federal & State Courts. Ideal candidates should also have five or more years of experience working in a fast-paced defense firm.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform administrative responsibilities and collaborate with attorneys, legal support staff and various firm departments.
- Open new matters, interface with and establish ongoing positive business relationships with clients.
- Create, format, edit, proofread, and manage Word documents.
- Draft routine correspondence and forms.
- Track, organize, and process expense reports, reimbursements, and check requests using Chrome River.
- Manage and maintain lawyers’ schedules and calendars.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Experience as a litigation-focused legal administrative assistant required.
- Ability to adapt to changes in work environment and manage competing demands from multiple attorneys, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism.
- Strong technical, organizational and administrative skills.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with and knowledge of e-filing in state and federal court.
- Some college preferred.
- Experience with Milana a plus.
