What are the responsibilities and job description for the Legal Assistant position at LHH?
LHH Recruitment Solutions, in partnership with a law firm in Richmond, VA, is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to assist their team on a temporary, possibly temporary-to-hire, basis.
This role is onsite to start with flexibility for one day remote in the future.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing legal documents and correspondence
- E-filing with Virginia courts
- Managing calendars
- Arranging travel
- Running conflict checks
- Preparing expense reports
- Communicating with clients
- Providing general administrative support
Requirements:
- 3 years of recent litigation experience required
- E-filing experience in VA required
- Strong MS Office knowledge and typing skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
The anticipated pay rate for this position is between $28 and $40 per hour, depending on years of experience, education, and other job-related factors.
