We are seeking a detail-oriented Treasury Staff Accountant to join a dynamic finance team. This role sits within Treasury Operations and offers strong exposure to cash management, banking relationships, and daily financial operations. Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile and balance daily banking activity with internal systems and reports
- Confirm daily cash inflows, including incoming receipts and deposits
- Review and validate daily disbursement files, ACH activity, and check processing
- Prepare journal entries related to cash activity and maintain accurate general ledger records
- Monitor bank exceptions, process check voids, and resolve discrepancies
- Perform daily and weekly reconciliations, including third-party disbursement activity
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and supporting documentation
- Assist with audit requests and provide required documentation
- Support treasury-related reporting, including maintaining daily treasury rates
- Partner cross-functionally with accounting and operations teams to resolve cash-related inquiries
- Assist in improving treasury processes, policies, and internal controls
- Support additional treasury and accounting projects as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1–2 years of accounting, treasury, or finance experience (internships welcome)
- Basic understanding of banking operations and cash management processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
- Self-starter with a hands-on and proactive mindset
