What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instructional Designer position at LHH?
I’m working with a team in the HVAC space that is building out their training and documentation from the ground up—and they’re looking for a hands-on Instructional Designer to jump in and help bring structure to it.
This is a very execution-focused role where you’ll be working directly with end users, capturing processes, and turning them into clear, user-friendly training materials.
If you enjoy organizing information, building step-by-step guides, and creating training content from scratch—this is a great fit.
🎯 What You’ll Be Doing
- Sit with AP, AR, and other accounting teams to document workflows
- Capture screenshots and create step-by-step system navigation guides
- Build training content in Articulate Rise (Rise 360)
- Create screen recordings and videos using Snagit
- Organize, log, and catalog documentation
- Develop procedures and reference materials that will eventually roll into full handbooks
- Support system training and help end users better navigate tools
✅ What They’re Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience creating training materials and process documentation
- Hands-on experience with Articulate Rise / Rise 360 (required)
- Experience with Snagit or similar screen capture tools
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to work independently and jump in quickly with minimal direction
💼 What’s in it for you:
- Medical, dental, vision benefits
- 401(k) eligibility
- Hybrid flexibility (3 days onsite)
- High-impact work strong chance to extend
Salary : $45 - $55
