Weβre looking for a Human Resources Specialist to join a leading Fortune 500 manufacturing company. If you have 0β3 years of HR experience and enjoy supporting employees through HR operations, payroll, benefits, and HRIS processes, this is a great opportunity to build your career with a well-established organization.
What You'll Do:
- Provide HR, payroll, and benefits support via phone, email, and case management system.
- Assist employees and managers with HRIS processes, primarily using Workday.
- Process employee transactions including new hires, terminations, promotions, salary changes, leave of absence, benefit enrollments, direct deposit updates, and deductions.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
- Support payroll processing and benefits administration, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, and Wellness programs.
- Resolve employee inquiries or escalate issues to the appropriate HR team.
- Document cases, follow up with employees, and ensure timely resolution.
- Guide employees on HR self-service tools and resources.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and report trends to leadership.
- Collaborate with HR team members and participate in ongoing training.
What You Bring:
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 0β3 years of experience in Human Resources or a related field.
- Knowledge of HR, payroll, and employee benefits processes.
- Experience with Workday, PeopleSoft, or another HRIS preferred.
- Customer service or call center experience is a plus.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Spanish language skills are a plus.
