Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general maintenance and repair work across the facility, including minor plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and equipment-related tasks.
  • Respond to facility service requests in a timely and professional manner, troubleshooting issues and resolving problems when possible.
  • Conduct routine inspections of building systems, equipment, lighting, safety devices, and common areas to identify maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Support preventive maintenance schedules for equipment, machinery, HVAC systems, doors, fixtures, and other facility assets.
  • Assist with office, warehouse, production, or building setup needs, including furniture moves, workstation adjustments, meeting room setups, and minor installations.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safe conditions in maintenance areas, storage rooms, utility spaces, and work zones.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams as needed for repairs, inspections, deliveries, and facility projects.
  • Monitor facility supplies, tools, and equipment; notify management when materials need to be ordered or replaced.
  • Follow all company safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, personal protective equipment requirements, and applicable regulatory guidelines.
  • Document completed work, maintenance activity, inspections, and repair needs accurately and promptly.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support facility operations.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in facilities maintenance, building maintenance, industrial maintenance, or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to read work orders, follow instructions, and complete maintenance documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple requests, and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills when interacting with employees, vendors, and visitors.
  • Valid driver’s license may be required depending on location and job duties.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience using a computerized maintenance management system or work order platform.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and facility inspection checklists.
  • Basic understanding of OSHA safety practices, electrical safety, and lockout/tagout procedures.

Work Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week

Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
