A growing manufacturing company is seeking a Cost Accounting Manager to join its accounting leadership team. This is a hands-on role responsible for driving cost accounting, inventory analysis, financial reporting, and process improvements within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate has strong manufacturing accounting experience and enjoys partnering with operations to improve financial visibility, strengthen controls, and support business growth.
What You'll Do
• Lead cost accounting and inventory accounting activities
• Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory, and product profitability
• Support month-end close, financial reporting, and account reconciliations
• Review P&L results and investigate cost variances
• Partner with operations to improve costing accuracy and financial performance
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and inventory planning
• Drive accounting process improvements and automation initiatives
• Support the overall accounting function in a manufacturing environment
What We're Looking For
• Manufacturing accounting experience required
• Strong cost accounting and inventory management experience
• Full-cycle general ledger and month-end close experience
• Experience analyzing variances, COGS, and inventory activity
• Leadership or mentoring experience preferred
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
