LHH is assisting a full-service regional law firm in their search for a Transactional Senior Associate or Counsel to join its growing Corporate practice group in Pennsylvania or South Jersey. This group is quickly growing, and the workflow is outpacing their current headcount. They are seeking an experienced attorney who can immediately take on significant responsibility and run complex transactional matters on day one.
This attorney will work within a collaborative team handling a range of sophisticated mid-market corporate transactions, including M&A, financings, contract drafting, and general corporate counseling. They will work closely with the group’s corporate partners, as well as collaborate with colleagues across multiple offices and practice groups, including tax, trusts & estates, and IP on diverse transactional matters. This role offers a realistic path to partnership, as the firm often elevates associates and counsel from this group. The firm is known for its collegial culture, strong mentorship, and commitment to attorneys’ professional growth.
Candidate Requirements:
- 8 years’ corporate transactional law experience, including M&A, financing, and corporate governance; securities experience a plus
- Expertise in drafting core deal documents and interfacing directly with clients
- Ability to work independently and balance multiple matters and deadlines simultaneously
- PA and/or NJ bar preferred, but any active law license will be considered (relocation available)
- JD from an accredited law school
Compensation and Benefits:
- $190-200k base salary
