LHH Recruitment is partnering with a well-established AM law firm seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned paralegal who enjoys taking ownership of cases, working closely with attorneys, and supporting matters throughout the full litigation lifecycle.
💰 Salary: $80,000–$95,000/year
🏢 Schedule: Onsite
🏠 Flexibility: Potential for 1 remote day per week after the probationary period
What You’ll Do:
- Support attorneys with general and complex commercial litigation matters
- Manage cases from inception through resolution, including organizing files, tracking deadlines, and maintaining case calendars
- Prepare and assist with pleadings, motions, notices, discovery, and other litigation documents
- Handle federal and state court e-filing, including ECF
- Conduct case and docket research using PACER and Westlaw
- Manage large volumes of case documents and electronic discovery using Relativity and other eDiscovery platforms
- Proactively monitor deadlines and keep matters moving with limited supervision
- Assist with case preparation and other substantive paralegal responsibilities throughout the litigation process
What We’re Looking For:
- 5 years of litigation paralegal experience within a law firm
- Strong background supporting cases throughout the full litigation lifecycle
- Experience with complex commercial litigation strongly preferred
- Hands-on experience with ECF, PACER, Westlaw, Relativity, and Microsoft Office
- Strong knowledge of court procedures, calendaring, filing requirements, and document management
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of assignments
- Ability to learn new legal technology and software quickly
- Flexibility to work overtime when case needs require it
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred, although relevant experience may be considered in place of education
