What are the responsibilities and job description for the Audit Manager position at LHH?
We're looking for an Audit Manager to join a growing public accounting firm. This role is ideal for an experienced audit professional who enjoys leading client engagements, mentoring staff, and serving as a trusted advisor to clients.
What you'll do:
- Lead and manage audit, review, and assurance engagements from planning through completion.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Review workpapers, financial statements, and audit findings.
- Mentor and develop audit staff and seniors.
- Identify risks, evaluate internal controls, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with partners on engagement planning and client service strategies.
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- CPA required or actively pursuing.
- 5 years of public accounting audit experience.
- Experience leading engagements and managing staff.
- Strong communication, client service, and project management skills.
Compensation:
- Salary Range: $100K-$130K
- Bonus Potential
