What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Specialist position at LHH?
This role supports day-to-day accounting activities for a small organization. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys working across multiple accounting functions in casual, onsite office.
What You’ll Do
- Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Support payroll processing and related reporting and taxes as needed
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with internal accounting procedures
- Will assist with basic administrative and human resource duties
What You Bring
- 2 years of bookkeeping or general accounting experience
- Strong reconciliation and data accuracy skills
- Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks or similar systems preferred)
- Comfortable working with Excel
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
