Position Overview
Our client is seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day and monthly accounting functions for a growing, privately held organization. This role will work closely with ownership and external finance leadership and will play a key role in maintaining accurate financials while supporting ongoing growth. This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys being involved in the details while also having visibility into the broader business.
Key Responsibilities
• Handle daily and monthly accounting activities, including month-end close
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate financial reporting
• Track job costs, monitor project budgets, and manage cost allocations
• Support annual budgeting and monthly variance analysis
• Assist with quarterly payroll and compliance reporting
• Collaborate with leadership and project stakeholders to support financial decision-making
• Help improve and document accounting processes as the business scales
Qualifications
• 5 years of accounting experience
• Full-cycle general ledger experience
• Construction or project-based accounting experience preferred
• Hands-on experience with job costing and work-in-progress reporting
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working in an ERP environment

Compensation & Benefits
• Salary range approximately $100,000–$120,000, depending on experience
