We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Mortgage Assistant. This role provides administrative and operational support to the mortgage department, ensuring timely and accurate processing of loan documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with uploading, tracking, and requesting trailing documents for mortgage files.Review documents for accuracy and completeness; scan and upload into loan systems.Help obtain and clear audit items to maintain compliance standards.Prepare and create PDF loan bundles for clients and credit unions.Support adverse action processes (denials) and maintain accurate records.Perform general clerical duties, including filing and data entry.Communicate professionally with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues promptly.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.1 year of experience in mortgage, banking, or administrative support roles.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with loan processing systems.Skills & CompetenciesOrganizational and time-management skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.Customer service mindset with problem-solving abilities.Pay Details: $18.00 to $22.00 per hourSearch managed by: Amaka Mozie Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
