Human Resources Generalist | Overland Park, KS Direct Hire | $65,000-75,000 LHH Recruitment Solutions is supporting a growing and employee-focused organization, who is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join their Human Resources team. This position offers the opportunity to support a wide range of HR functions, including employee relations, benefits administration, onboarding, compliance, recruiting support, and day-to-day employee engagement initiatives. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys wearing multiple hats, building relationships across the organization, and serving as a trusted resource for employees and leadership. POSITION OVERVIEW The HR Generalist will serve as a key member of the Human Resources team, providing support throughout the employee lifecycle while helping ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations. This individual will partner with managers and employees to foster a positive workplace culture and deliver exceptional HR service. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions regarding benefits, payroll, policies, and HR programs
• Coordinate onboarding and new hire orientation activities
• Support employee relations matters, investigations, and conflict resolution efforts
• Administer employee benefits programs and assist with open enrollment processes
• Assist with leave administration, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, workers' compensation, and other leave programs
• Maintain employee records and ensure HRIS data accuracy
• Support recruiting efforts by coordinating interviews, managing candidate communications, and assisting with onboarding activities
• Process personnel changes, promotions, transfers, and terminations
• Assist with performance management and employee development initiatives
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations
• Generate HR reports and assist with audits as needed
• Participate in employee engagement and culture-building initiatives

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• 3 years of Human Resources experience in a Generalist capacity
• Working knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements
• Experience supporting benefits administration and leave management programs
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
• Strong problem-solving and relationship-management abilities
• Multi-state HR experience
• Benefits administration and leave of absence management
• Employee relations investigations and conflict resolution
• HRIS reporting and data management
• Recruiting and talent acquisition support
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification

Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
