The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable:
- Support day-to-day HR operations including employee inquiries, issues, and general HR support
- Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, and responding to employee questions
- Manage the full lifecycle of leaves of absence (LOAs), including intake, documentation, tracking, and communication with employees and managers
- Ensure LOA processes are compliant with FMLA, CFRA, ADA, and other applicable regulations
- Partner with payroll and benefits teams to ensure accurate processing of leave-related pay and benefits continuation
- Assist with full-cycle recruitment including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and onboarding support
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, files, and HR documentation
- Support employee relations efforts by assisting with investigations, documentation, and resolution tracking
- Prepare reports and assist with audits related to HR data, compliance, and leaves
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve HR processes and ensure consistency across policies and procedures
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with a high level of professionalism and discretion
- 2 years of HR experience in a generalist or related role
- Hands-on experience managing leaves of absence (LOAs) and knowledge of applicable regulations (FMLA, CFRA, ADA)
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and service-oriented environment
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- $28-$34/hour
- Contract opportunity with potential for extension or long-term position
- Full-time, Monday-Friday
- Standard business hours
- Fully onsite in Central San Diego
