What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at LHH US?
We are currently recruiting for an Administrative Assistant role in Winston Salem, NC! This is a fully on-site, temp to hire position with a private school. In this role, you will serve as first point of contact for families and visitors, manage records and help coordinate school-wide events and communications. You will be collaborating with teachers, support staff and families daily. We are looking for someone who has at least 2 years of administrative experience.

Responsibilities:
- Support the School Principal with daily operations, scheduling, and correspondence.
- Prepare professional documents and manage written communications with minimal supervision.
- Greet and assist visitors; screen and prioritize calls, emails, and mail with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Maintain the Principal's calendar and coordinate appointments and meetings.
- Uphold discretion in handling sensitive or confidential matters.
- Maintain accurate and organized digital and physical filing systems.
- Manage inventory and ordering of instructional materials and supplies.
- Maintain student data in digital information systems.
- Create and distribute weekly newsletters and annual Teacher Welcome Letters.
- Assist with preparation and setup for staff meetings and school events.
- Maintain accurate records and produce detailed reports.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 2 years of administrative experience.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Prioritize tasks and manage interruptions in a fast-paced environment.
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Communicate effectively with staff, students, and families, both verbally and in writing.
- Follow verbal and written instructions with attention to detail.
- Foster a collaborative and respectful work environment.
- Reflect and uphold the schools standards of service, excellence, and community care.
