Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a growing organization in Lexington, KY. This individual will play a key role in managing customer accounts, processing payments, resolving billing discrepancies, and supporting overall cash flow operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and prior experience working in a high-volume accounts receivable environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and post customer payments accurately and timely
• Monitor and maintain accounts receivable aging reports
• Conduct collection activities through phone and email outreach
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and account disputes
• Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate records
• Generate invoices, credit memos, and account statements
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve customer concerns
• Prepare AR reports and assist with month-end closing activities
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
• Support ad hoc accounting and finance projects as needed

Qualifications

• 2 years of Accounts Receivable, Billing, Collections, or related accounting experience
• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Experience with account reconciliation and collections processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a high-volume transaction environment
• Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills

Pay Details: $23.00 to $27.00 per hour
